Notebinder

Privacy policy

Effective September 28, 2026

Notebinder is the conversation-notes service at notebinder.app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to reach us. Questions and privacy requests go to brandon.schaefer@simplebusinesshelp.com.

Information you give us

When you create a client or sign in, we store the client name, your email address, and a salted hash of your password. If you sign in with Google, we store Google's account identifier for that login and the verified email Google sends us. We do not receive your Google password.

Inside a client we store the notes, companies, contacts, deals, item codes, to-dos, hours, team memberships, email invites, and mention alerts that you and your team add. A copy of the notes can also stay in that browser so a note can still open if the server is briefly unavailable.

Payment information

Subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Notebinder stores the Stripe customer id, subscription id, and subscription status. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's pages and are not stored by Notebinder.

How we use information

We do not sell personal information.

Who can see a client's information

People signed in to that client can see its notes and records. Someone you invite by email can join after they accept. Stripe receives the billing details needed to charge the subscription. If you choose Google sign-in, Google receives the sign-in request. The service runs on Google Cloud.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in. During Google sign-in, a short-lived cookie ties the return from Google to that attempt. Both cookies are HTTP-only. The browser also stores a local copy of notes and your zoom setting.

How long we keep it

We keep a client's information while the client exists. Email brandon.schaefer@simplebusinesshelp.com to ask for access, a correction, or deletion of the client and its notes.

Children

Notebinder is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.
